agree as follows: 

 

Breeder sells and delivers to purchaser a kitten:
  • in good health
  • vaccinated (see “entboekje”)
  • wormed (see “entboekje”)
  • with health certificate (see “entboekje”)
  • if desired, with chip (cost to buyer)
 
Buyer agrees kitten to be neutered/ spayed.

Proof of that, provided by a veterinarian ,has to be send to the  breeder after the surgery.
An exception can be made for a female kitten, after consultation with
the breeder ,before the sale is closed.
 The purchase price is: --- EURO
 The ownership of the kitten will be transferred to buyer on:
 date , pick up time to be determent between buyer and owner.
 
 
Buyer and breeder find, that the cat has no externally visible defects or abnormalities.
1.
Buyer agrees to give the cat a good treatment. To contact the breeder, if there are questions about nutrition, treatment, care or  development of the cat.
2.
Breeder agrees to advise and assist the buyer in every way , within reason.
3.
Buyer agrees to annually vaccinate and worm the cat.
4.
Buyer will not let the cat outside (exception is made for a  screened area in the yard .
5.
The cat will have sufficient daily contact with people and other pets.
6.
The cat will not be kept in a cage nor otherwise be locked up.
7.
Buyer will return the entire purchase price within one week after purchase, if the kitten dies from an infectious disease,  contracted at the breeders house, or if the cat dies within 1 year  after purchase, from an hereditary disorder.
8.
Purchaser is not entitled to compensation when there are  features that do not harm the health and welfare of the cat, but makes the cat not suitable for exhibitions.
9.
Breeder reserves the right to visit the above mentioned cat after the cat has been there for some time.
10.
Breeder has the right to take the cat back, if research proves that the cat is abused or neglected.

 

Buyer agrees not to sell the cat other than to a different private person, and to provide the breeder with the name, the
address / telephone / email of the new owner.
 
    
Buyer agrees:
 
To take proper care of the cat.
To notify the breeder if death of the cat occurs.
To NOT declaw the cat unless medically necessary.
 
If within 14 days after delivery of the cat, through veterinarian examination, it has been determined that the cat suffers from a disease, defect, or abnormality, which already existed, or can be related to a disease, defect, or abnormality (other than mentioned above) already existed at the inception of the contract (hidden defect), then the buyer has the right to cancel the agreement if the buyer within 8 (eight) days after discovery ,has notified the seller with the intention to return the kitten. A declaration has to be completed and signed by a veterinarian and accompany the intention to return the kitten to the seller. The breeder is then obliged to take the cat back and to give a full refund of the purchase price.
 
The Dutch law is applicable to this agreement.
